Pradesh Congress Vice-President and party in-charge of Chittor district Gopal Singh Idwa has been nominated for the Lok Sabha elections for six years. He is a resident of Idwa village of Nagaur district. They will be contested by the current MP, BJP’s CP Joshi. Congress headquarters declared candidates for 19 seats on Thursday. Chittorgarh has been given ticket to former Rajshamand MP Gopal Singh Irva. Simultaneously, the situation in Chittogarhad’s political constituency has stopped. Shekhawat Rajput Gopal Singh became MP from Rajsamand in 2009. In the last election 2014, he lost to BJP’s Hari Om Singh Rathore. Initially, he was supposed to contest his election from Rajsamand but the party also wanted to make Rajput leader as candidate in Chittorgarh and being in charge of Idwa was in good contact with the district workers for six years.
