Jaya Kishori Ji का जन्म राजस्थान के सुजानगढ़ गॉव के एक गौड़ ब्राह्मण परिवार में हुआ। इनकी माता का नाम गीता देवी व पिता का नाम हरितपाल शर्मा हैं। जया किशोरी भगवान कृष्ण की भक्त हैं। इनके गुरु बचपन में उन्हें राधा कहकर बुलाते थे।
हमारे भारत में जो सिस्टम में उसमें बच्चों को पढ़ाई लिखाई करके अच्छी नौकरी की तरफ आगे बढ़ना पढ़ता है। उसके अलावा सफलता पाने का कोई दूसरा ऑप्शन नहीं है। लेकिन इसी भारत में कुछ लोग होते हैं, जो इसे तोड़ पाते है। आज हम अपनी कहानी में ऐसी साध्वी का जिक्र करेंगे जो छोटी उम्र में ही भक्तों की मसीहा बन गई।

जया किशोरी जी के नाम से लोगों के बीच प्रसिद्ध इनका असली नाम जया शर्मा है। जया जी जब वे केवल 6 साल की थी तब से भगवान कृष्ण के लिए जन्माष्टमी पर विशेष पूजा करती थी और 6 साल की उम्र में ही भगवान के प्रति उनका लगाव इतना था की वे तभी से श्रीकृष्ण जी को अपना भाई बंधू मित्र सबकुछ मानने लगी। जया ने 9 साल की उम्र में संस्कृत में लिंगाष्ठ्कम, शिव तांडव स्त्रोतम, रामाष्ठ्कम आदि कई स्त्रोतों को गाना शुरू किया और आज 2018 में भी उनकी मधुर वाणी सुनने को मिल रही है। जब 10 साल की थी जया ने सुन्दरकाण्ड गाकर लाखों भक्तों के मन में दिलों में जगह बना ली।
बीकॉम कर चुकी हैं जया किशोरी
Jaya kishori का धर्म के साथ-साथ पढ़ाई पर भी ध्यान दिया और इसलिए अपनी स्कूली शिक्षा भी जारी रखी। उनकी खूबसूरती देखकर कोई नहीं पहचान पाता कि वो एक साध्वी बन चुकी है। जया ने कोलकाता के स्कूल महादेवी बिड़ला वर्ल्ड ऐकेडमी से स्कूली पढ़ाई की है। जया जी रंग-रूप दिल, मन और वाणी से बहुत ही सुन्दर हैं। कुछ लोगों का मानना है कि जया जी ने सबकुछ छोड़कर साध्वी बन गयी लेकिन आपको बता दें कि ऐसा नहीं है उन्होंने अपनी पढाई भी करती हैं और अपनी बीकॉम की पढाई भी पूरी करली है।
जया के प्रारम्भिक गुरु पं. श्री गोविन्दरामजी मिश्र ने श्रीकृष्ण के प्रति इनके प्रेम को देखते हुए इन्हें ‘किशोरीजी’ की उपाधि आशीर्वाद के रूप में दी। लेकिन ज्यादा दिनों तक हमको उनका सानिध्य प्राप्त नहीं हो सका।
